I guess we all are born to do mistakes and to learn from them. But not all mistakes are created equal! I have always wondered why I at the age of 38 had to start to learn how to learn. I have of course attended schools, but in the school we sit down and are being told that we have to learn this and that – not knowing what for. And as you might recall – the teachers told you it was important, and I guess your family did too. Anyway…
Why did they not first learn us how to learn?
Most likely because they did not know how to teach us how to learn and actually explain too us the real reason for why. I'm not blaming the teachers. I'm actually blaming myself. I have been way to stubborn in my life: I'll go and fix it myself. During the last 15 years I have known better – learn from how successful people have done things, pick their brains – so to speak. If they have figured out a great "blueprint" on how to do a certain thing, I guess it's a good idea to listen to them and do some mistakes, but not all of the stupide and costlly ones.
